The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that Lucas LeJeune of Roermond, The Netherlands, has been chosen as the 2025 Colts International Fan of the Year, presented by Lucas Oil Products, the team’s Official Global Partner.

The distinction honors outstanding NFL fans worldwide who motivate others through their passion for American football. In recent years, LeJeune has played a key role in expanding Colts support throughout Europe — including before, during, and after the team’s Week 10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, which marked the franchise’s first time hosting an international home game.

As this year’s Colts International Fan of the Year, LeJeune will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh and will be entered as a nominee for the NFL International Fan of the Year award. The league-wide winner will be revealed during Draft Weekend.

LeJeune’s connection to the Colts began in 2019 while participating in a high school study abroad program that placed him with a host family in Fishers, Indiana. During that time, he immersed himself in the team’s history, culture, and roster, quickly becoming a devoted supporter of the Horseshoe. After returning to The Netherlands, he created a group chat for European Colts fans.

That small chat has since grown into “Blue Crew Europe,” a network of more than 100 Colts supporters across the continent. LeJeune plays an active leadership role in the group and coordinates gatherings, including hosting the first European Colts Cookout at his home.

His residence — known as the “Colts Gardenhouse” — features an extensive collection of Colts apparel and memorabilia.

LeJeune has attended Colts games both in the United States at Lucas Oil Stadium and in Nashville. He was present in Frankfurt for the Colts’ 2023 win over the New England Patriots and later traveled to Berlin when Jonathan Taylor scored three touchdowns in an overtime thriller against the Falcons. Since his exchange year, LeJeune has made multiple trips back to Indianapolis, including several weeks in central Indiana during the holidays this year. During that visit, he attended two games and stopped twice at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center on 56th Street.

On his second visit to the facility, LeJeune recorded an episode of “The Colts Show” podcast. At the conclusion of the taping, he received a surprise visit from Colts left tackle Bernhard Raimann and team mascot Blue, who revealed that he had been named the Colts’ 2025 International Fan of the Year.
